Through my art, I hope to initiate a refreshing experience by stimulating contemplationand escapism in a viewer.

Each of my works is conceived as a puzzle segment thatprovides a glimpse of a pictorial consequence.

At first glance depictions of environmentsare inviting and free to inhabit. 

However, upon closer observation a potentially dangerousnew reality spurred by form and ambiguity comes into focus. 

Subsequently, a viewer willfind that my work comments on current social and environmental issues while revealinghow I see the world around me – interconnected and constantly shifting between thefamiliar and unfamiliar.
